Forbes has announced Bill Gates as the richest man in the world for the year 2009. With the official announcement,  Gates regained back the title he lost to his long time friend, Warren Buffet of Berkshire Hathaway, a year ago.

A stunning number of over 200 jewels were used to decorate the tree, which include diamond baubles and a string of expensive pearls, and weighs more than 21 kilograms.
